The Trainer
Andy Oliver qualified as an equine vet at the University of Edinburgh, then gained invaluable experience in the racing jurisdictions of America, Australia and South Africa before becoming vet and assistant trainer to Mark Johnston in North Yorkshire.
Back on the family farm in Co. Tyrone he built Stragrane House from scratch into today’s 220-acre yard, and has been a top-ten Irish trainer for five consecutive seasons.
